Judy Vereeke

Judy Ann Vereeke, age 83, passed away unexpectedly September 13, 2025. Judy was born on October 9, 1941 in Grand Rapids to the late Byron and Ellen (Yelland) Darling. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Cindy Zichterman and Sherrie Wybenga; stepson-in-law, Bob Felty; sister, Dawn Bacca; and sister-in-law, Ruth Darling. Judy retired after 30 years as an upholsterer at General Motors. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Dennis Vereeke; daughter, Christi VanderBand; son Jeffrey Dale; step children, Denise Felty, Jeffery Vereeke, Richard (Shelley) Vereeke; several grandchildren; her brother Harold Darling; and many nieces and nephews. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held in the near future. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital.
