Judy Spencer

Judith Farah Spencer, age 80, went to be with her loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Judy was born in December of 1942 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI to the late George and Beulah Dorman.

Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by two of her two sons, Steven Douglas Spencer and Mark Alan Spencer; sisters Norrine (Melvin) Swiger, Patsy Aiello, Sherrill (Robert) Olee and Delores Moriarty as well as by brothers Alton Pickett and Bruce Pickett.

She is survived by two sons; Brian (Monique) Spencer and Toby Spencer, her sister Roberta Webb, special niece Vicki VanLente and grandchildren Brian K. Spencer Jr., Elizabeth Dawn Spencer and Keith Douglas Spencer, great-grandchildren; Samantha Nicole, Kelly Marie and Waylon James as well as by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

She was a 1961 graduate of Central High School in Grand Rapids and was a Member at Messiah Lutheran Church.

Judy was a longtime employee at Amway Corporation and was an active Tupperware sales person for many years.

She will be fondly remembered for her enthusiasm for Crochet, Baking, Singing, Candy Making and Traveling.

Judy’s family will meet with friends on Thursday, December 07, 2023 from 5-7 pm, at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt and Shawmut Hills Chapel, (2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504) and from 10 am prior to the time of her funeral service on Friday, December 08, 2023 at 11 am at Messiah Lutheran Church, (2727 5 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525).

Judy will be laid to rest next to her sons, Steven and Mark in Rosedale Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Tallmadge Township.
