GARCIA, Juan B.
Grand Rapids, MI
Age 75, passed away January 24, 2019 with his loving family at his side. Juan was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco and Maria (Delarosa) Garcia. He was a U.S. Army veteran and 50 year employee of the U.S. Post Office. Juan will be remembered for his dedicated service to his family and country. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Elsie; children, Ron (Lori) Garcia of Newaygo, Oliver (Gloria) Perez of Grand Rapids, Raymond Perez of Grand Rapids, Juan Domingo Garcia of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Damian, Tiara, Ron, Christopher, Chantel, Joshua, Sarah, Jason, Nico, DeLaini, Paris; and many great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday January 29 at 11 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, 224 Carrier St NE. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 2-4 0r 6-8 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, 1833 Plainfield Ave NE and beginning at 10 AM at the church. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
