Joyce van Neuren

Joyce Elaine van Neuren (Mellema), age 93 went home to her Lord and savior on August 27, 2020. Joyce spent most of her life in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband John and their four children. Joyce lived the last few years of her life in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was a long time active member of Fourth Reformed Church and Alanon. Joyce was known for her exceptional baking skills, her love of family, her great sense of humor and her dedication to the Lord.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband John and her brothers Everett and Donald.

Joyce is survived by her brother Chester (Jane), her children John (Kimberly), Ellen, Janice (Robert) and Daniel along with 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren plus several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held at a later date.
