James Pendock

James Richard Pendock I, age 81, passed away November 3, 2025. James was born September 11, 1944 in Muskegon to the late Delbert and Evelyn (Neitzke) Pendock. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Sharon Pendock; his daughter, Kathryn Kay Pendock; his brothers Delbert Pendock and Larry Pendock. James is survived by his 2 children, Jim (Kelly) Pendock, of Crofton, MD, Brenda Sue Johnson of Greenville, MI; 5 grandchildren, Brad, Jeremy, Curtis, Andrew, Tiffany; 4 great grandchildren; sister Sue (Jay) Mihelich and son Jay; and many nieces and nephews. James grew up and to went school in Muskegon. He worked most of his career and retired from the Muskegon paper mill. He was proud of his collection of vintage cars. He loved to drive them in parades. He was a former member of the Maycroft Square Dancers. He enjoyed listening to country and western music. In later years also appreciated watching his church service videos. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3225 Roosevelt Rd. Muskegon, MI 49441. Friends may visit with family beginning at 11 AM. Private family burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Muskegon.
