Elizabeth F. VanderJagt (Vander Stel), “Betty”, age 88 of Walker, passed away February 14, 2021. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pete VanderJagt; her brother, William Gabrielse; sister, Connie Smith; step-grandchild Katie Dragseth and 2 great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by her second husband, Bill VanderStel; her children and step-children Mary & Richard Verhey, Peter & Robin VanderJagt, Steven & Mary VanderJagt, Tom (Tina) VanderStel, Jodi (Joe) Ferris, Brad (Sue) VanderStel; grandchildren Sara (Aaron) West, Rachel (James) Oswald, Joe (Molli) VanderJagt, Maria (Mike) Opoku-Ageman, Jennie (Kevin) Mulder, Ben (Aditi) VanderJagt, Gabriel (Lissa) VanderJagt, David (Ashley) VanderJagt, Emily VanderJagt, and Anna (Justin) Kahrs, Derek Ferris, Meagan Ferris, Emily VanderStel, Nick VanderStel, Holly VanderStel, Andrea VanderStel, Kevin (Caroline) Kerswil, and Kevin Dragseth as well as 24 great-grandchildren; brother Frank (Gloria) Gabrielse and sister, Jana Koning; as well as nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25 at 1 PM at Heritage Reformed Congregation, 540 Crescent Street NE where friends are invited to visit with her family beginning at 11:30 AM.
