Donna J. Kurti

Donna Jean (Wurm) Kurti, age 81, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 20, 2023 after a brief illness. She is survived by her dedicated and loving husband, Robert, whom she married 62 years ago on February 7, 1960. She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons; Scott (Barb) Kurti, Robert (Alicia) Kurti, and David (Krista) Kurti; numerous grandchildren, a great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Donna was preceded in death by her son Kevin, parents; Eugene and Minnietta Wurm, sisters; Maxine (Jack) Meyer, Kathleen Freybler, Linda Sredersas, brothers; Tom and Donald Wurm, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Eddie and Millie Yalacki, and close friends Tom and Dorothy Kawka. Donna loved camping with family and friends in Interlochen, spending time at the family cottage in Newaygo, fun excursions with her grandchildren, and putting together family gatherings. She enjoyed taking care of the deer in her backyard, time outdoors, especially pushing a lawnmower, with the help of her husband Bob – and a life dedicated to her family and friends. Donna retired from D&W foods after over 30 years where she made a lot of friends whom she always cherished. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful a person Donna was and how loved and missed she will be by her family and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday January 27, 2023 at St Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave Grandville. The family will gather for visitation on Thursday, January 26th from 6-8 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home – Alt and Shawmut Hills Chapel 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW and on Friday for one hour prior to Mass.
