Donald E. Pell

Donald E. Pell, age 85 of Grand Rapids, passed away September 10, 2021. He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Barbara; their children Kathy & Daniel Southwell, Roger & Laurie Pell and Mark & Mary Pell; grandchildren Lesa & Nathan Kiser, Matthew, Christopher, Katelin and Michael Pell; great grandchildren Nicholas, Madison and Easton; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Richard & Pat Billin and Faith Billin as well as many nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his son, Donald “Donnie” Pell; brothers Robert, Phillip, William and Harvey Pell; his sisters Betsy Sherd and Eleanor Jacobs; and his brother-in-law Ken Billin. Donald worked at Steelcase for many years and then owned Kelly’s Place on Ionia for about fourteen years. Cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time.
