Dianne Marie Klemp of Newaygo, MI, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 and was welcomed by Jesus with open arms. She was born in Chicago, IL in January of 1944 to the late Kevin and Sunshine Farrell. Surviving is her beloved husband of 53 years, Edward Richard Klemp “Ed” and her sons Mathew (Kate) and Timothy as well as her dear grandchildren Oscar, Louisa and Harriett, sister Karen (James) Bergstrom, brother Kevin Farrell and many handsome nieces and nephews. Dianne was an avid master gardener who preferred being outdoors. She loved tending her flowerbeds, feeding the birds, and playing with her dogs. Above all else, however, Dianne will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, a mother who took pleasure and pride in her boys, and a grandmother who loved watching her grandchildren grow. Dianne loved Jesus and is remembered for living out a life of humble obedience, full of grace, compassion and love. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 12-1 pm at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Vanstrien-Creston Chapel, (1833 Plainfield Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A public graveside service will follow at 3 pm in Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont, MI. For those who wish, memorial contributions to Covenant Point Bible Camp, (358 West Hagerman Lake Road, Iron River Michigan, 49935) would be appreciated.
