Delores Sparks

Delores Arlene (LeBaron), age 92, died on February 13, 2023 at Green Acres Assisted Living of Allendale. Delores was born on November 7, 1930 in Grand Rapids to the late Arlyn and Myrtle (Klint) LeBaron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Sparks of 61 years and her brother, William LeBaron. Delores is survived by her daughters, Debra Hula and Terri (Peter) Pols; grandchildren, Jason (Rachael) Hula, Michael Hula, Lucas (Amanda) Pols, and Sarah (Todd) Busscher; and 10 great-grandchildren. Delores was a Mollie Booth volunteer for many years at Butterworth Hospital and retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance as an insurance underwriter. The family expresses their gratitude for the exceptional care and love shown to Delores at Green Acres Assisted Living of Allendale and Faith Hospice. The family will be having a private graveside service in Fairplains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Diabetes Association or to a charity of choice.
