David Hooker

David Louis Hooker, age 86, of Wyoming, MI, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 while in the company of his family. David was born in Grand Rapids, MI in the fall of 1935 to the late Louis and June (Hunt) Hooker. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Patsy Ann (Borgman) who passed away in 2020 as well as by his daughter Cynthia Hooker, son Keith Hooker, sister Pat (Fred) Parm, brother Paul Hooker, brother John Hooker, and brother Richard Hooker. David served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1957. He worked in the tool and die industry for the remainder of his career. He loved the outdoors and fishing and hunting. David is survived by his son, Kevin (Terri) Hooker; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) Berens, Leah (Jayson) Koets, Steven (Michelle) Hooker and Tiffany (Ajay) Stanton; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Jackie Snyder, sister JoAnne King; sister Barbara Vertz, sister Judy (Gary) Root; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Nancy Borgman; sister-in-law Pamela; sister-in-law Mary Jo Hooker and many nieces and nephews.
