Daniel Rauser

Daniel Kenneth Rauser, 80, of Irons and formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday January 1, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Ann Rauser; his wife Margaret Rauser. He is survived by his children Kim (Rick) Rauser, Tracy (Matt) Zomberg, Betsy (Jim) Frank; Grandchildren, Amanda, Sara and Maxwell Zomberg and Morgan Frank; His sister Pat (Bob) Swantek; His Sister-in-laws Ellen (Greg) Johnson and Florence Reilly; Cousins, niece and nephews; Special friends throughout Michigan especially Mary and Dave at Harper Lake and the Irons Community. Dan graduated from WMU, then he devoted his long standing career in the Tool & Die industry with various roles in Die making, Design and Project Management. He volunteered and also had multiple businesses that fulfilled his charitable, entrepreneurial and creative spirit. Dan took great pride and interest in his children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments in academics, sports, art, small business and careers. Dan loved the thrill of roller coasters, snowmobiles, motorcycles and watching motorsports events. He loved the companionship of his dogs and was an inventor that was still creating till the end. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorable donation to the American Heart Association or to the Irons Area Tourist Association.
