Age 63, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Dan was born August 30, 1959 in Grand Rapids to Clarence and Joan (Koldenhoven) Konyndyk. He was a member of American Legion Post 179. Dan loved football, auto racing, working in his garage and especially being a dad and grandpa. He is survived by his children, Tanya Konyndyk of Grand Rapids, Dan (Allie) Konyndyk of Coldwater; grandson, Thayne Walters; mother, Joan Konyndyk of Grand Rapids: sister, Debbie (Steve) Datema of Gaylord; and nephews, Chad, Dustin, Luke, Eli, and Sam. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Konyndyk; and brother, Dale Konyndyk. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11 AM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Friends may visit with family beginning at 10 AM. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
