Age 58, passed away after a short illness, August 17, 2020. Chris was born September 13, 1961 in Muskegon to the late Ronald and Darlene (Huizenga) Schafer. On January 29, 2004 she married Tim McClurken. Her husband of 16 years survives, as do her children, Yolonda McClurken of Jenison, Shaun McClurken of Jenison, Tricia Chupp of Walker; grandchildren, Brendon, MaKailah, Nathan, Caitlyn, Joycelyn, and Melaina. Also surviving are her aunt, Linda Comeau of Las Cruces, NM; father-in-law, Jim McClurken; brothers and sister-in-law, James (Sergei) McClurken, Kevin (Cindy) McClurken, Cynthia (Doug Hoople) McClurken, Dan (Claudia) McClurken; and many nieces and nephews. Chris will be remembered as fun & funny, with a fantastic smile, always available to those she loved, especially to her grandchildren who were the joy of her life. Friends may visit with her family on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 5-8 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 21, 2020 at 11 AM at Rosedale Memorial Park, 50 Lake Michigan Drive.
