POTTS, Robert E.
Grand Rapids, MI
Age 95, passed away December 28, 2019. Bob was born February 19, 1924 in Grand Rapids to the late Joseph and Jennie (DeYoung) Potts. He was a lifelong member of Westview Christian Reformed Church. Bob was a purple heart recipient proudly serving in the U.S. Army during WWII. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn (Markus) Potts; and his brother, Jake Potts. Bob is survived by his brothers, Ray (Dorothy) Potts of Grand Rapids, Joseph (Helen) Potts of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; special nieces, Mary (Jim) Ruissen of Byron Center, Ruth (John) James of Jenison; and several nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Friends may visit with family beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be in Washington Park Memorial Garden. The family would like to thank the staff of the Christian Rest Home for the love and care given to Bob these past years. Memorials may be made to Edison Christian Health Center.
