Benjamin Kennedy

Benjamin Kennedy, aged 86, of VanBuren, AR, formerly of Wyoming, MI, left this earth for his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Ben was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spiro, OK. While he lived in Wyoming, MI, he was a long term member of Woodward Baptist Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion. Funeral services were held December 2, 2005 in Spiro, OK. Ben was laid to rest at the U.S. National Cemetery in Ft. Smith AR. Ben is survived by his wife, Ludema; eight children, Dennis Kennedy of Buena Park, CA, Lucille (Bill) Bok of Grand Rapids, MI, Karen DeKraker (Russ) of Peoria, IL, David (Jenny) Kennedy of Hughesville, MD, Sue Kennedy of Las Vegas NV, Dick (Shar) Kennedy of Hammond, IN, Dale (Dianna) Kennedy of Jenison, Vicki (John) Workman of Bridgeman, MI; two step-daughters, Rita Sitton of Martinsville, IN and Debbie McAdoo of Elma, AR; a brother, Robert Kennedy of Grandville, MI; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
