Anita VanDam

Anita Marie VanDam, age 80, passed away peacefully June 11, 2026. Anita was born February 7, 1946 in Mancelona to the late Donald and Eva (Massey) Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerard Davis; her son, Gerald Peters Jr.; and her brother, Roger Davis. Anita is survived by her children, Rick Peters, Scott Peters, Angela Cunigan, Kelly Thomas, Holly Walton; grandchildren, Jessica, Johnathan, Shawn, Russell, Renee, Christina, Michael, Kaylee, Taylor, Annastasia, Elizabeth, Nathan, Joey, Hailey and Thomas; great grandchildren, Adriana, Coral, Sandy, Shelby, Skylynn, Lilyana, Milo, Aaliyah, Asaiah, Ari, Saylor, Rome, and Shaye. Also surviving are her brother, Chuck (Tanya) Davis; sister-in-law, Yong-Ae Davis; Nephew, Daniel Davis; niece, Jennifer Davis-Watlington; and close friends, Susan Reed, Greg Arthur, Doug Howell, Kim Arthur and Jane Elzinga. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.
