Althea Anema

Althea Anema (Boerkoel) age 88 of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord Monday May 25th. Althea was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Anema. Althea was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Sandra and Randall Ackerman (Matthew, Nathan, Maegan and spouses), Kenneth and Carol Anema (Crystal, Katie, Cynthia, Amy and spouses) and Kathlyn Biggins, 8 great grandchildren, sisters Francis Chertos, Dorothea Beute, other brothers and sisters in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery, Friday May 29th at 1:00 pm. Friends and extended family may greet the family at 440 Sunbrook Street, Grand Rapids, MI 49508, Friday between 3:00 – 7:00 pm. Please follow social distancing guidelines during this visitation. In honor of Althea and in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Faith Hospice or Seventh Reformed Church Benevolent Fund.
