Loving husband, father, uncle and friend passed away September 19. 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Oscar was born December 1, 1964 in Mexico City, Mexico to the late Leonides Robles Soriano and Catalina Gatica Hernandez. On July 11, 1987, he married Reyna Vazquez in Mexico City, Mexico. Oscar was employed with Wolverine Spring Coil Company. He loved music, riding motorcycles, the great outdoors, and even Michigan winters. But most of all, Oscar loved to help others and especially he dearly loved his family. Oscar will be remembered for his innovative mind and his servants heart. Besides his wife of 31 years, he is survived by his children, Denisse Robles, Karina (Alejandro) Brougham, Oscar Robles, Jr., Alexis Robles; brother, Haracio (Susana) Robles-Gatica; and sisters, Aracely Robles-Gatica & Karla Robles-Gatica. Also surviving are his loving nieces and nephews, Vazquez-Tellez, Vazquez-Diaz, Vazquez-Ramos, Vazquez-Ramirez, Luna-Vazquez, Robles-Preciado, Robles-Badillo, Robles-Gatica, Vazquez-Hernandez; Oscar's special dog, Lola Robles; and many many friends. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Oswaldo Robles-Gatica and nephew, Oswaldo Robles-Badillo, Jr. A gathering to celebrate Oscar's life will be held Friday September 21 from 2-6 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 1833 Plainfield Avenue NE. A tribute time will be held at 4 PM.
