Mary Louise Huey, was born Aug 6, 1935 in Ewen, Michigan passed away Mar 4, 2019 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents: Glen and Violet (Bowers) Gue; her 2 brothers: Kenneth and Glen Gue; 2 sisters: Patricia Leith and Judith (Walt) Williams; an infant son: Kenneth Huey; daughter-in-law, Roberta (McDonough) Huey; and by her longtime friend, ex-husband and lifetime partner, Robert E. Huey. Mary Lou is survived by her remaining 7 children: 3 sons: Bob, Ed and Mike Huey; 4 daughters: Cathy Smith, Shirley Huey, Denise DeVries (Joe Puplis) and Ruth Ann (Ken) Merriweather; sister-in-law, Evelyn Gue; brother-in-law, Walter Williams; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW. Private Graveside memorial at 2:00 pm at Rosedale Cemetery where she will be laid to rest near her Father.
