Bonnie Cichon, 63, who resided in Rockford, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 with her beloved husband Dave Cichon by her side. She was born in the spring of 1956 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Beulah and Marshall Ross. Her passing was preceded by the death of her parents and her brother Stephen. Bonnie was also a sister to siblings Rick, Anna, Rodger, Mitch, Char, Sue, Bruce, Wanda, John, and Ron. She was a very loving mother to Bridgett and David Jr. grandmother to Bianca, Dominic, Hailey, Mason, Kenley, and Brady, and great-grandmother to Carter. Bonnie used to love playing baseball in the backyard with her siblings every weekend in her youth. She loved going for rides in the pontoon boat with the family and was always outside playing with her children as they were growing up and her grandchildren as they came. Bonnie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dave and Bonnie were happily married for 43 years and never spent a single day apart. One of their favorite things to do together among many was cruising in their yellow 1972 Chevelle and going to car shows and going on Carnival cruises. They had been on a total of eighteen cruises together. Bonnie has left her family with many wonderful memories to cherish and will forever be in our hearts. She will be missed dearly. Please join Bonnie’s family for a Gathering of Remembrance at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, (2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504) on Thursday August 22, 2019 from 2-4 PM.
