Margaret Deabler

Margaret S. Deabler, age 105, of Grand Rapids, peacefully passed away at her home at Clark Retirement Community on Thursday morning, May 16, 2019. She was born in the spring of 1914 to Justus and Margaret Simpson in Scottdale PA. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles who died in 1995 and her daughter Barbara Rasmussen. She is survived by her daughter Carol (Tom) Davis of Charlotte, MI and by her daughter Barb’s husband Dr. John Rasmussen (Barb) of Petoskey, MI. Grandchildren: Julie Davis, Dr. Kevin (Allison) Davis, Daniel (Lisa) Rasmussen, Dean Rasmussen and Becky (Ryan) Friske and seven great-grandchildren. Margaret will be fondly remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Margaret’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the compassionate staff at Clark Home for the loving care bestowed on Margaret’s behalf.
