Lottie Laskowski / Kruzel

Kruzel / Laskowski Lottie Kruzel, aged 95, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was born March 27, 1923, the daughter of John and Mary Szczewinski/ Sowinski. She is survived by her son, Fred (Margaret) Laskowski; brother Chester Sowinski; sister Irene Malek; many loving nieces, nephews, and their families. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Laskowski in 1948 and Leon Kruzel in 2009; two sisters, Janina and Genevieve; brother-in-law, Elmer Malek and sister-in-law, Patricia Sowinski. Lottie worked as an executive secretary, 9 years at John Widdicomb, and 27 years at American Seating, retiring in 1984. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 5, at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2230 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends and relatives may meet with her family on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 am until the Mass begins at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Ann’s Home, Emmanuel Hospice or a charity of your choice.
