Linda Davis

Linda Fay Davis was born on December 28, 1951 to Eldridge L. Davis Sr. and Ruby May Judon in Pontotoc, Mississippi.She got her education through the Pontotoc public school system.She moved to Grand Rapids, MI in 1970 where she lovingly raised her four children while working for Knape & Vogt manufacturing company for 37 years, retiring in 2009.

Linda loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren. Her favorite sport was basketball. She definitely was tuned in for the entire NBA season. Her all time favorite player was Michael Jordan when he played for the Chicago Bulls. Fried chicken and ice a cold Pepsi was her favorite. (Pepsi for Linda’s kids)

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Eldridge L. Davis Sr. and Ruby May Judon, Grandmother Rennie May Judon, Brother William E. Davis, Son Carlos A. Davis and three grandchildren Darryl, Brittanee and Jasmine, Cousin Willie James Judon.

Linda Fay leaves behind to cherish her memory her children; two daughters, Latonia Davis and Shaniqua Sawyer; three sons, Antron Davis Sr., Lamont Davis Sr. & Nicholas Burns all of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Her siblings: one brother, Eldridge “Jr.” Davis of Grand Rapids MI and two sisters Ruby Jean Lindsey and Mary Ann Judon, both of Beloit, Wisconsin; Aunt Ruby Leggett of Grand Rapids, Michigan., 19 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren. Her partner in life Allen Walker and a very special Friend Joanna McDonald. A host of family and friends whom she loved dearly.

Linda will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she Rest In Peace.
