Joseph "Joe" Booker Sr.

Joseph Henry Booker Sr. “Joe”, age 75, passed away quietly in Naples, Florida after a brief battle with cancer on June 19, 2016. Joe was the owner of The Kings Room and Co-founder of Booker Institute of Cosmetology. Those who knew him will remember his energy, quick wit, and unique ability to recall names and faces. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Joseph Jr. Booker (Zach, Angie, and Henry), Michele Sisson (Waverly), and Tyler Booker (Gabrielle, Mattea). Joe will be missed by his great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. He is also survived by his siblings: Sherry Skridulis (Tom), Ed (Sue), and Paul. Joe was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Henry and Susie Booker. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 27, 2016, at 2:00 PM at the First Reformed Church of Grandville, 3060 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville.
