John Moes

John Moes, much loved husband, father, and grandfather, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on May 23, 2022. John was born on June 2, 1932, in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. Following service in the Army, John came to Grand Rapids, MI, where he met and married his beloved wife, Elaine. He loved his family deeply, and was a friend to everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Elaine Joyce Moes, in February of 2021, and his son, Robert Moes, in July of 2020. John is survived by his daughter, Lynda (Shawn) Seehusen, Creston, IA; granddaughters, Amanda Seehusen of West Amana, IA, Emma Crew of Aiea, HI, and Shannon Seehusen of Cresco, IA; and great-granddaughters, Kylea and Ava.
