Bernard James “Jim” Rempalski, aged 82, of Irons, MI, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Elaine Rempalski; his children, Roxanne (Dan) Trader, Steven (Paula) Rempalski, Dawn (Eric) Kamyszek; 5 grandchildren, Amber (Ben) Barle, Nick (Krista) Rempalski, Eli Rempalski, Reed (Sofie) Kamyszek, Alyssa Kamyszek; 2 great grandchildren, James and Maizie Barle; his brothers and sister, Ron (Nancy) Rempalski, Victor (Peggy) Rempalski, Joanie (Dave) Falicki; sister-in-law, Helen Rempalski; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ted Rempalski and Dick (Barb) Rempalski. Jim proudly served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Saipan. He retired from Corduroy Rubber after 35 years of service. A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 am at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW in Grand Rapids. Friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the service begins at 11:00 am.
